Influences of Nghe An – Ha Tinh area in the end of 18th century, beginning of 19th century to Nguyen Cong Tru’s career

Abstract

   Nguyen Cong Tru's outstanding appearance in Vietnam history at the early of 19th centurywas a result of convergence and multidimensional interaction by homeland, family, and eracontext. This article presents prominent factors in Nghe An - Ha Tinh in the end of 18th century,and the beginning of 19th century that influenced to Nguyen Cong Tru's career and characterafterwards: the development of Confucian education and achievements of academic examination,the rising of famous literary families, the occurrence of Hong Son literature school, theparticipation of patriot personalites, intellectuals and famous generals from Nghe An - Ha Tinhinto Vietnam's present situation, the environment of folk songs, and lastly, the typical character ofNghe An - Ha Tinh people that impacted a strongly influence to Nguyen Cong Tru.
