Acculturation is a scientific term that is appeared in the late Nineteenth century andearly Twentieth century in the anthropological studies of American scientists when theynoticed the cultural transformation of the American peoples before the immigration ofEuropean and African peoples. Many scientific research works on this issue are publishedand derived from many different perspectives: anthropology, psychology, and education ...In Vietnam, many cultural researchers are also interested in questioning this topic andmany different explanations. In general, cultural transformation is a change in the culturalpattern of culture through long-term exposure. That transformation can be understood as amethod of cultural creation. The article summarizes the basic perspectives on this issue inthe world and in Vietnam in order to have an overview of creative methods in culturaltransformation.
