Abstract
During the period of 1930-1945, local historical novels of Lan Khai successfully builtthe world of women in northern mountainous regions. Some characters are decisive andpowerful people, others are ordinary people. Each person has her own personality, destinyand tragedy expressed through the turbulence, but they all have common aspirations, thatare love, happiness and freedom. Lan Khai has shown a new perspective on people and artby expanding the subject, strengthening artistic fictions, innovating genres and languagesto innovate novels.
