Factors Affecting on the Solvency of Individual Customers at Agribank Ben Cat

Abstract

The article aims to examine the factors affecting the solvency of individual customers at Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development - Ben Cat Branch (Agribank Ben Cat). The article was conducted basing on data collected from 660 individual customers who have the credit relationships with the bank for 3 years or more during 2018–2020 by conducting statistical analysis and Logistic regression analysis. The research results show that there are six factors affecting on the solvency of individual customers, including gender, job, income, loan size, interest rate, and credit history. While gender, income, and loan size have positive impacts on the solvency, the remaining factors have negative impacts on the solvency.
