Strategy to Attract Foreign Direct Investment in "New Normal" Period

Abstract

Over the past 10 years, Vietnam has yielded great achievements in attracting FDI when it is estimated that FDI increased by nearly 1,000% during this period. Despite achieving impressive results, Vietnam is currently facing the great challenges in maintaining competitiveness and attracting FDI in new conditions, especially after the covid pandemic - 19. Therefore, in this paper, the authors present the important trends that change the strategic context for FDI, thereby proposing and recommending suitable solutions to attract and increase the efficiency of FDI capital in the new context.
