Determination of effects and levels of factors on sustainable eco tourism development - Case study in Ca Mau Province
Abstract
The study aims to determine of effects and levels of factors on sustainable eco-tourism development in Ca Mau Province. The sample was collected from 500 domestic tourists who have visited Ca Mau Province. A structural equation modeling was employed in this research. The results indicate that: (1) satisfaction has a significant positive effect on sustainable Eco-tourism; the attractive destination factor; tourist area link; lowest is tourism management policy; (2) tourism management policies have a significant positive effect on attractive destinations; technical infrastructure; socio-cultural; the lowest is the natural environment; (3) technical infrastructure has a significant positive effect on satisfaction; next to culture-society; the natural environment; finally tourism management policy. Based on the research results, some governance implications are proposed to develop sustainable Eco-tourism for Ca Mau Province.
