STUDY ON THE EFFICACY OF SOME HERBICIDES ON BOEHMERIA NIVEA (L.) GAUD

Abstract

Weed is one of the most important pests in Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaud. This study has identified the composition of weeds in Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaud in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province including 12 species, 7 families, 4 orders. The species of weeds in Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaud are mainly Cyperus rotundus, Eleusine indica, Ageratum conyzoides, Eclipta prostrata. The results showed that Dual Gold 960EC was the most effective herbicide. Treatments with herbicides are more economical compared to the control of. With Dual Gold 960 EC gave the highest profit with net profit reaching 18,520,000 VND, greater than that of the control by 5,320,000 VND and profit margin increasing by 4.09 times).
