Abstract

In this paper, the buckliiig and post-buckling behaviors of eccentiically shif- ened íunctionally graded material (ES-FGM) plates on elastic íoundations subịected fo iii-plane compressive loads or Iherma] loads are in\'esligated by an analytical solution, The novelty of this work is that PGM plates are reiníorced by PGM sliííeners and the lemperature, stiffener, íoundation aie considered. The first-order shear deícrnìation plate theory is used. The thermal elements of plate and stilĩeners in hindamental equations aie introduced Theoretical íormulations based on the smeared stiữeners technique and the íirst-order shcar đeíormation plate theory, are derived. The analylical exptessions to determinc the static cntical buckling load and post-buddừig load-defleclion are obtained.
