BUILDING AN APPLICATION FOR CONTROLLING AND MONITORING INDUSTRY DEVICES BY INTERACTIVE VOICE

Abstract

This article presents the construction of an application for controlling and monitoring industry devices by interactive voice. The goal of the group of authors is to control high-voltage electrical equipment, robot control,... and other devices in the industry by voice with interaction with the operator. With an overview of voice control technology, the group of authors selected Microsoft's voice library built into Visual Studio software 2017 to build control and monitoring application. The voice control signal, after being captured by the microphone, is processed by algorithms, compared to the pre-programmed scripts to deliver control signals sent to programmable controller devices such as PLCs to control devices. In addition, the software is programmed to monitor important loads if necessary, when problems occur with these loads, the software will send a signal informing the operator by voice and propose the next control solution for each specific case.
