Abstract

The operation of the Thau Rau and Cha Va culvert system has altered the hydraulic and hydrological regime of the internal rivers in the Cau Ngang district, Tra Vinh province. Firstly, it has changed the water level and flow, resulting the riverbank erosion and fluctuations in the study area. The riverbank erosion has changed the riverbank and has destroyed the existing infrastructure system. This article has shown the results of a study aimed at identifying solutions to stabilize the riverbank and prevent erosion, ultimately serving the social-economic development of the Cau Ngang river located within Cau Ngang town, Cau Ngang district, Tra Vinh province
