Abstract

Grapes are considered a branded staple crop of Ninh Thuan province, which significantly contributes to the improvement of the economic value to farmers who are producing grapevines on the same cultivated areas instead of growing rice and other crops. However, the increasing drought and water shortage situation in the province in recent years, which tend to be increasingly severe, has declined the production of grapevines and challenged farmers. To deal with this situation, appropriate technology solutions to ensure water sources for grapes in the current dry conditions are of necessity. Accordingly, the research results from the field experimental models with the formulas of drip irrigation and low-range sprinkling combination have produced an irrigation regime with a suitable formulas for grapevines in arid conditions to meet local practical requirements
