Abstract
The results of monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the structure for collecting, recharging, and exploiting the groundwater at Hon Ngang island, Nam Du archipelago have shown the sharp changes between the minimum groundwater level in dry season and the maximum groundwater level rainy season, from 7,7m to 20,5m. The groundwater has spreaded to the sea about 70m and the depth of about 7m. At the same time, the water quality has also changed better in terms of Fe2+, Fe3+, Cl-, SO42-, HCO3-, NO3-, dried residues, alkalinity, hardness, and electric conductivity at the time of the late rainy season (November 2022) when compared to those at the time of the late dry season (May 2022).
