Đánh giá diễn biến dòng chảy sông Cổ Chiên và sông Hậu tỉnh Trà Vinh

Abstract

Co Chien and Hau River are two river routes that play an very important role in the sustainable development of Tra Vinh province, providing a valuable source of fresh water for the province's socio-economic development. Tra Vinh is a coastal province, located downstream, the flow regime of these two rivers is strongly influenced by the flow of the upper Mekong River. In order to contribute to the forecasting of flow changes in the future, this study will focus on analyzing and assessment the current status of flow changes (water level, discharge) of the Co Chien and Hau rivers in Tra Vinh province, period 2004 ÷ 2020 as a basis for proposing adaptation measures to actively exploit effectively the water potential of these two rivers, contributing to the formulation of socio-economic development plans of the province in the future in the conditions of climate change, sea level rise and exploitation of upstream countries
