CREATING EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS AS A TOOL TO TEACH GENERAL PHYSICS CORRESPONDING TO MEET PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES AT HANOI UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACY

Abstract

Educational videos are an important means to improve student learning and increase interaction between students and lecturers in university courses. Creating educational videos meet viewer psychology, pedagogical purposes and standard video designs. Applying cognitive load theory to make educational videos to improve the quality of training according to the output standards has been used to students at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. Three factors to consider when designing educational videos are: the amount of knowledge to be given, the design of the video and the questions to help learners actively record knowledge. This article shows principles and suggests practical ways that teachers can use the  principles to make videos as an educational tool.
