Abstract

Digital transformation in the library sector refers to the application of information technology and digital platforms in both traditional and modern libraries. Various policies and solutions have been put forth by the Party and the State to comprehensively apply information technology, especially digital technology, to enhance the operational capacity of libraries and meet the needs of readers in the current digital transformation context. To clarify the research purpose of finding solutions to enhance the digital transformation process to improve the quality of service for readers at the library of University of Education - Thai Nguyen University, the article combines qualitative research methods such as reviewing relevant research literature to develop a theoretical framework, synthesizing, analyzing, and summarizing data related to digital transformation in libraries, and using logic combined with history methods to study the current situation of digital transformation at the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University library. As a result, the article evaluates the current situation, advantages, and limitations of the digital trans formation process and proposes four solutions to promote the digital transformation at the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University library to meet the requirements of improving the quality of service for readers. The article is not only theoretically significant but also practical in terms of digital transformation in library work in general and the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University library in particular.
