PHAM PHU THU AND HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE NGUYEN DYNASTY

Abstract

Pham Phu Thu is a shining symbol of an honest, upright, and exemplary official who always wholeheartedly serves the country and takes care of the people's lives. By researching and analyzing related documents and using historical and logical methods, the research results have highlighted the great contributions of Pham Phu Thu to the Nguyen dynasty in many aspects from internal affairs to foreign affairs, especially his very practical and comprehensive proposals for reforming and developing the country from politics, diplomacy, military, economics to culture and education. At the same time, this research also contributes to clarifying the life, career, great literary works, and great contributions of Pham Phu Thu to the Nguyen dynasty as well as for posterity to praise and imitate Pham Phu Thu’s example of dedication to the country and people.
