Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of exhaust gas treatment during the trial operation of Soc Son waste power plant. Carry out processing of the following three exhaust gas samples at combustion chimney No. 3 and twenty air samples around the Plant area at locations with the greatest impact. Sample analysis results show that the concentration of pollution parameters in chimney exhaust is below the allowable limit of QCVN 61-MT:2016/BTNMT. The difference in the results of analyzing pollutants in exhaust gas at three survey periods reflects the efficiency of exhaust gas treatment when adjusting the concentration of adsorbent chemicals and reaction time in the tower. During the pipeline clearance stage to prepare for trial operation, most of the pollution concentrations in the surrounding air are below the limits of QCVN 05:2013/BTNMT. However, the results of the first survey of the time spent clearing the pipeline to spread dust and NOx exceeded the allowable standard threshold. To improve the efficiency of exhaust gas treatment at Soc Son Waste Power Plant, a number of technical solutions are proposed in 2 stages: technical adjustment stage, pipeline clearance stage and stable operation stage.
