Abstract

On the current educational innovation roadmap, many studies on the Program, Textbooks, teaching materials, organizational forms, teaching methods, etc. have been widely published. However, with the position of one of the six compulsory works in the General Education Program of Literature 2018, Nguyen Trai’s Binh Ngo Dai Cao in the 10th grade Literature textbook has not yet become the main research subject of any work or article. So, what are the features of the work Binh Ngo Dai Cao in the three textbooks Canh Dieu, Chan troi sang tao, and Ket noi tri thuc cuoc song, and how can we effectively exploit the value of education in terms of quality and competency for high school students during the class hours? Using analytical methods of literary works, culturology research methods, statistical manipulation, comparisons and contrast methods, this article contributes to identifying the characteristics of Binh Ngo Dai Cao in three sets of books and clarifies the work’s specific features as well as the possibility of meeting quality and competency education requirements for high school students. These are also important suggestions when approaching the works of Binh Ngo Dai Cao in particular and medieval literary works in general in the General Education Program of Literature 2018.
