THE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR EDUCATION AT VIETNAMESE UNIVERSITIES, MEETING THE NEEDS OF DIGITAL HUMAN RESOURCE TRAINING

Abstract

The article identifies challenges for training digital human resources in higher education and proposes some innovative solutions for higher education to train and develop digital human resources in Vietnam. Using qualitative research methods, the article is built on the basis of secondary data sources, which are documents on the State's guidelines and policies on digital transformation. Analysis and synthesis are used in the implementation to clarify the points of the article and the proposed solutions. The research results show that Vietnam has great potential for the development of digital human resources is great; at the same time, the ability to train digital human resources for the social economy in the university system is completely possible. However, to be able to create digital human resources capable of participating in the regional and global labor market, it is necessary to implement digital human resource development including: (1) The key role, leading of the Government in creating mechanisms, policies and environment for the development of digital technology; (2) The central role of enterprises in investment, transformation, and adaptation to digital technology in all production, business, and service activities; (3) Training institutions actively design training programs and contents that are “adaptive” to the movement and changes of the labor market in the context of industry restructuring; (4) Each employee should regularly integrate and improve their own capacity, master digital technologies, and quickly adapt to the change of digital technology.
