Abstract

Parts of the Mathematics and Informatics knowledge in the 10th grade curricula are observed to be correlated and interdependent. On the basis of learning about the Python programming language and the programming to resolve mathematical problems whose solutions can be presented in the form of algorithms, this article aims to propose a way to inculcate rules of counting in 10th grade students with an orientation towards exploiting Mathematics - Informatics interdisciplinary relationship. The research results were obtained by analyzing and synthesizing theoretical knowledge, in tandem with studying the teaching practices employed in the Mathematics and Informatics curricula in high schools. Based on the research results, the teaching procedure of counting rules in the direction of deploying Mathematic and Informatic knowledge to resolve problems is devised. Through this application, not only can students fortify relevant mathematics and informatics knowledge, but they are also allowed to see the close and mutually supportive relationship between Mathematics and Informatics.
