Abstract

In smart travel system, automatic route planning is one of the complex but very important and necessary functions for tourists before and during their sightseeing journey. This function not only requires creating a route plan that suits the conditions of visitors quickly, but also has to be optimized in terms of visit time and economic efficiency. In this paper, we present a new automatic routing algorithm based on the idea of ​​TSP (Traveling Salesman Problem) scheduling problem and additional parameter about reasonable travel time, called TPA. (Travel Planning Algorithm). TPA algorithm is adapted into the multi-platform smart tourism system of Thai Nguyen province. Based on suggested tourist spots in the process of choosing tourist attractions, TPA algorithm works stably and makes better travel route than the routing function in smart tourism system of TripHunter and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).
