Improving the efficiency of urban technical infrastructure projects in My An town, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province

Abstract

Project quality management is the task of all units involved in the implementation of the project from the level of investment decision, the investor, the contractor ... but now the role of the Investor is very important, assuming the main role in the quality management of construction works. Therefore, the Investor needs to improve its responsibilities and find solutions to improve the quality management of construction works and the efficiency of using budget capital of the Investor in My An town to catch up with the quality management situation in the country is necessary and urgent today. This study inherits previous research, and is based on the law on Public Investment and other laws related to investment in urban technical infrastructure construction in My An town, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province. The collection process has identified 37 factors (observed variables) to assess the level of impact, through 06 main weak groups ( i) Competence - Experience; (ii) Design; (iii) The coordination of the parties; (iv) Finance; (v) Labor and supplies; (vi) Difficult factors occurring outside the project.Conducting average validation, Cronbach's Alpha scale reliability testing, EFA discovery factor analysis, the study finally found 24 observed variables that affect the investment in urban technical infrastructure projects in My An town, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province.
