Abstract

ABSTRACT

Contents of the paper is about the effect of excess pore water pressure of (sand, clay) foundation according to Boulanger method related to the affected for liquefaction potential during earthquakes on the construction sites in Binh Dinh Province. The results show, the correlation is established according to some methods related to the affected for liquefaction potential during earthquake level. The ultimate bearing capacity of single piles according to the Fellenius
method is the highest values and the Boulanger method is the smallest values. Calculating the average reliability index βg according to some methods as such (Boulanger, Fellenius, Hua and Plaxis 3D) of the values are between 0.5 and 3.5. The values of the ultimate bearing capacity of single piles according to the Hua method is the consisten.

Keywords: Boulanger method, Hua method, standard penetration test (SPT), cyclic triaxial test, earthquakes.
