ABSTRACT

Textile reinforced concrete (TRC) is a new type of composite material with many outstanding advantages in terms of bearing capacity and anti-corrosion. At the same time, due to its structure, this form of material has the ability to well absorb the momentum caused by explosive loads. The use of reinforced TRC material for reinforced concrete structures subjected to explosive loads should be studied for application to some types of construction structures in practice to enhance bearing capacity. In the article, the authors will use the simulation tool ABAQUS software to study the behavior of strengthened reinforced concrete slabs with TRC material when subjected to explosive loads, thereby evaluating the effectiveness of using TRC.
