Abstract

The article presents the results of analysis of the probability of thermothermal cracking in the process of heat hydration of cement determined by numerical simulation of a large pier-shaped reinforced concrete structure. The content of the study mentioned the influence of some factors on the probability of thermal cracking according to the above method. The analysis results can be used to predict the probability of thermal cracking for the design of suitable concrete construction and curing plans to control the cracking of pier-shaped reinforced concrete structures.
