Proficiency testing in Cement, Masonry mortar, Ceramic tiles - Assessment of Performance and Reliability of LAS - XD laboratories.

Abstract

Proficiency testing plays a very important role in assuring the quality of the test results. Based on the results of the proficiency test, the regulatory authorities as well as the relevant units will evaluate the laboratory's performance. Participating in the proficiency testing program is also proof that the laboratory is implementing a quality management process according to ISO/IEC 17025. Participants self-assess their performance and at the same time find out the causes affecting the quality of the test results to take measures to improve and overcome through the proficiency testing program. This article gives an overview of the testing performance of laboratories in the field of building materials based on the results of proficiency testing organized by the Institute of Building Materials.
