Application of conical surface in architecture

Abstract

This paper presents the research process on the Conical surface and its application in architecture. The objective is to provide the concept, surface representation, classifying cross-sections of the Conical surface, and the applications of the Conical surface in architecture. The results show that the Conical surface is a curved surface with high application in architecture. In addition to soft surfaces for aesthetic effect, it also has good bearing capacity and is easy to build from straight beams.
