Improvement of the efficiency of social housing projects in Tien Giang

Abstract

The development of social housing is one of the crucial tasks that the government pays special attention to.  It could create good accommodation conditions for the people and contribute to the sustainable development and the progress of society. However, the housing development in some localities, including Tien Giang, still has many limitations and difficulties. One of the reasons is that the relationship between people's needs and the project's profit has not been harmoniously addressed. The scale and architectural design of the projects are not suitable for local customs and trends. Therefore, it is necessary to research to find the right solutions and directions for social housing development projects in Tien Giang. The findings of the survey could be used to improve the efficiency of projects and to solve the actual needs of the people. In this article, from collecting, synthesizing, and assessing the circumstance of social housing in Tien Giang, the authors aim to find some directions to improve the efficiency of housing development projects in Tien Giang.
