The simple design method in the soft ground improved by deep cement mixing supported road embankment

Abstract

The main objective of the research is to determine a method of designing deep cement mixing (DCM) columns which is suitable for improving soft ground in the Mekong Delta to overcome limitations of current methods, called the simple method. In this study, the method of appropriately designing DCM columns in soft ground improvement is proposed based on the survey of different dimensions of parameter, distance and length of DCM columns.
