The role of investors in improving the effectiveness of labor safety management and environmental protection at construction sites
Abstract
This paper analyzes the role of investors in improving the efficiency of occupational safety and environmental protection management at construction sites. Investors play a central role in ensuring that safety and environmental protection procedures comply with legal regulations and achieve practical effectiveness. The paper emphasizes the legal and ethical responsibilities of investors while proposing measures to minimize labor accidents and negative environmental impacts, thereby enhancing project quality and sustainability. However, managing occupational safety and environmental protection faces several challenges, such as limited awareness among workers, financial constraints, and difficulties in supervising contractors. To address these issues, the paper suggests solutions such as strengthening training programs, raising awareness among workers and contractors, promoting the application of modern technologies like IoT, BIM, and AI in site supervision, and improving waste, noise, and air pollution control mechanisms. Proactively implementing effective management measures will help mitigate risks, increase labor productivity, ensure project timelines, and create a safe and environmentally friendly working environment, contributing to the sustainable development of the construction industry.
