Research on some problems in the production and use of crushed stone as road base layer in the Southern region

Abstract

This article presents that stone is an important and indispensable material in civil, industrial and traffic construction works. In Vietnam, every year, the amount of stone used is up to hundreds of millions of m³ with many different types such as boulder stone, crushed stone, 1x2, 2x4, 4x6 stone, crushed stone and crushed stone aggregate. However, the current stone production process still has many limitations, especially in the production of crushed stone for the construction of automobile road foundations in the Southern region. Therefore, in order for the stone production process to be highly effective, we need to find out the shortcomings in production and propose solutions to overcome them.
