ABSTRACT
On the basis of an overall assessment of teaching nouns in some primary schools, the article designs 3
types of exercises: Exercises to identify and classify; Exercises in identifying words by structure; Creativity
exercises. These types of exercises will contribute to help teachers solve the difficulties in teaching about
Vietnamese words in general and Vietnamese noun words in particular for elementary students.
