The activity of assessing learning outcomes (assessment of learning outcomes) in natural sciences is an important activity for administrators and teachers in schools. Using scientific research methods, the author conducted a survey of 15 managers and 35 natural science teachers in middle schools, Region 1, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The research results show that the current status of management of assessment activities in natural sciences in these schools has many advantages and some limitations. The topic has confirmed the causes leading to the limitations. Since then, the author has proposed urgent and highly feasible management measures. If combined with synchronous and flexible measures according to each school's conditions, it will create positive changes and improve the quality of teaching Natural Sciences in Area 1, Thu Duc City in particular and the surrounding area. Ho Chi Minh City area in general.
