ABSTRACT
In the academic year 2020 - 2021, 2021 - 2022, many universities have been organizing online teaching
and learning to cope with the Covid-19 outbreak. However, not only in the period of dealing with the epidemic,
online teaching and learning is becoming more and more popular in response to the requirements of digital
transformation in education. The article clarifies the concept of digital transformation, online teaching, the
role of online teaching as well as mentions the implementation of online art education.
