Many Buddhist documentaries are written in Sino-Vietnamese characters, among the many other Sino-Nom materials found in Vietnam. They have substantial contributions to Sino-Nom history and Buddhist heritage and are documented in several resources and databases. In this article, the structure of the Buddhist documentaries in the Sino-Nom characters are described and the translation situation of those documents are examined. The analytical result led to the proposal of training options aimed at enhancing the editorial and translation teams.
