Developing cognitive interest for preschool children plays an extremely important role in the process of children participating in activities, and at the same time contributes to the formation and development of comprehensive personality for children. This article presents the results of a survey on the current status of developing cognitive interest for 5-6-year-old children in learning games at preschools. The survey subjects include 31 preschool teachers and 67 5-6-year-old children on developing cognitive interest in learning games. The research results show that the level of cognitive interest of children in learning games is mainly at an average and weak level. From there, some measures are proposed to develop cognitive interest for 5-6-year-old children in learning games.
