Improving the efficiency of the implementation of legal provisions on information, consultation and legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are considered an important force in maintaining and developing the economy and solving social problems in each country. For this reason, the implementation of legal provisions on information, consultation, and legal support for SMEs has an important role  in ensuring that these enterprises are aware of and strictly comply with the laws, thus minimising mistakes and interruptions in production and business as well as promoting the development of SMEs. In recent years, although the information, consultation, and legal support for SMEs in Vietnam has gained attention, there are still many shortcomings. In this article, the author analyses several theoretical and practical issues related to the implementation of relevant legal provisions; evaluates the advantages achieved and highlights the shortcomings and limitations; and makes recommendations and solutions to improve the efficiency of the implementation of information, consultation, and legal support for SMEs in the coming years.
