Commercial mediation in the European Union: current provisions, development and recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract

Commercial mediation in the European Union has been developed on the basis of rules issued by the European Union and its member states. This development process can bring Vietnam useful lessons to improve the legal framework on commercial mediation and promote its development. Therefore, in this article, the author will focus on clarifying the content of the legal provisions on mediation in general and commercial mediation in particular in the European Union as well as in the member states, analyzing the current development of mediation in the region, from which, some experiences are drawn for Vietnam.
