Abstract
The article focuses on researching and analyzing current requirements to be an auctioneer according to Vietnamese Law based on the comparison with those in French and Chinese Law, two countries owning experienced and professional auctioneers and dynamic auction activities. From this comparison, the article points out limitations and inadequacies in Vietnamese Law and learn from the French and Chinese legislation experience to suggest directions to perfecting Vietnamese Law on auctioneer criteria in the view that auction is an industry, a business with adequate meaning and nature in market.
