Abstract

Creating jobs and ensuring sustainable livelihoods for farmers whose agricultural land has been acquired is an important matter which is of concern to the Party and the State. The article summarizes the content of the current law on support for training, job change and job seeking for farmers whose agricultural land has been acquired, assesses the shortcomings and limitations that the practice has posed. Based on the study of the applicable land law and the Draft of the Land Law (amended), the author gives comments to the Draft of the Land Law (amended) regarding issues that need to be further improved in terms of job creation and livelihood maintaining for people whose agricultural land has been acquired.
