Abstract

In the course of business, the responsibilities of organizations and individuals trading goods and services are specified in many different legal documents such as the Commercial Law, the Housing Law, the Product and Goods Quality Law, The Law on Food Safety, the Law on Real Estate Business... in which the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2010 stipulates the specific responsibilities of business organizations and individuals towards consumers. The paper outlines the research results on responsibilities of organizations and individuals trading goods and services to consumers in the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2010, including: concepts; basic contents; shortcomings of the legal provisions, thereby proposing a number of solutions to improve the law.
