International integration and the process of improving the rule of law following the Socialist orientation in Vietnam

Abstract

The rule of law is an classical doctrine both in the East and in the West. From a political theory, the rule of law has step by step become a principle of organization and operation of the State apparatus in many countries around the world. The United Nations also emphasizes the rule of law and access to justice as one of the goals (Goal number 16) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) - also known as the Global Goals - by 2030. This study systematizes opinions and views of the rule of law in the world, especially the rule of law following the socialist orientation’ ideology; analyze the problems arising from the current context of exclusive international integration, thereby proposing some views on building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam in the spirit of ensuring the inheritance of good values ​​of the human quintessence, inseparable from the conditions of Vietnam's political, socio-economic institutions.
