Comments on some provisions of the 2010 law on protection of consumers’ rights
The 2010 Law on Protection of Consumers’ rightsis one of the effective instruments to protect the legally rights of consumers - the disadvantaged in consumption transactions. However, after almost 10 years of enforcement, there are some drawbacks in this law which need to be supplemented and amended. This article analyzes some contents that is no longer suitable in the 2010 Law on Protection of Consumers’ rights, including provision on the definition of consumer, provisions on warranty of goods, components, accessories, and the resolution of consumer disputes at courts, etc. It also proposes some suggestions for improving these articles.
