The commercial and investment dispute settlement mechanism in Japan and recommendations for Vietnam in the implementation of the CPTPP

Abstract
Japan is a comprehensive partner with Vietnam and Japan with Vietnam are members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The implementation of the CPTPP cannot avoid commercial and investment disputes between Vietnamese and Japanese individuals and business organizations. Mastering Japanese commercial and investment laws is essential. This article analyzes and clarifies some important contents in the Dispute Settlement Mechanism (DSM) in Japan then gives recommendations for Vietnamese organizations and individuals in the implementation of CPTPP in relations with Japan.
