Tourism real estate in Vietnam - status of development and recommendations for policy and law improvement

Abstract

Tourism real estate is a new term that has been used in Vietnam to refer to a number of new products directly serving tourism activities. The development of tourism real estate also poses many policies and law issues that need to be researched and perfected in order to promote a strong, transparent and sustainable development of this segment. This article analyzes: 1) The concept, characteristics and the role of tourism real estate; 2) the status of tourism real estate and the related policy and law system; 3) Recommendations on improvement of the related policies and laws to promote the stable and sustainable development of tourism real estate.
