The relationship between the domestication of treaties and the development and improvement of the legal system in Vietnam

Abstract

The domestication of international treaties together with the law development and improvement are two essential topics, which are the focus of research in legal science in Vietnam and other countries. However, up to now, there have not been many studies on the interactive relationship of these two legal phenomena. The article clarifies the connection between domestication of international treaties and the legislation and improvement of law as an important contribution to legal science. At the same time, the article explains the impacts of the requirement for the domestication of international treaties as well as the practical manifestations of this activity on the construction and improvement of the current Vietnamese legal system. On the other hand, the advantages and disadvantages from existing elements of the national legal system to the domestication of international treaties to which Vietnam is a member will also be comprehensively analyzed in this article.
