The guarantee of children’s right in the law-making process in Vietnam

Abstract

Children belong to weak and vulnerable group that are protected by everyone in the social community and the law. Therefore, ensuring children's rights in the process of law-making is always a topic of discussion to aim at the goal that children's rights being recognized, protected, guaranteed and respected. The article discusses some theoretical issues on children's rights, ensures children's rights in the process of law-making in Vietnam, on that basis, assesses the current situation of ensuring children's rights in law-making in recent years. It also points out a number of reasons and recommendations to ensure children's rights in the future law-making.
