Abstract
The article analyzes the principle of fault-based criminal liability in Vietnam's criminal law and grounds for excluding criminal liability in the Penal Code 2015. Thereby, it points out a number of limitations of the Penal Code 2015 regarding grounds for excluding criminal liability and recommends for the improvement of the Penal Code towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of applying such grounds in practice.
