The relationship between corporate social responsibility and sustainable development and the application under Vietnamese Law on Assistance for small and medium–sized enterprises

Abstract

The development of enterprises in particular and the economy in general always aims at sustainable development. To achieve sustainable such goals, enterprises need to be responsible for society. Therefore, studying the relationship between corporate social responsibility and sustainable development is necessary. Inherited the views of scholars on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, the paper states the author’s views on the corporate social responsibility and sustainable development; and draws on the relationship between these two factors, thereby analyzes provisions under Vietnamese Law on Assistance for small and medium–sized enterprises and makes some recommendations to improve the law.
