The concept and necessity for adjacent land acquisition to auction land use right for project implementation

Abstract

Land acquisition for economic development for the sake of the nation and the public interest has been one of the major solutions contributing to the utilization of values that land brings to the socio-economic development of many areas across the country. Legal provisions on land acquisition have been improved through the amendment and supplementation of the Land Law. Currently, in addition to the provisions on land acquisition in general in previous documents, the Land Law 2013 also recognizes the issue of land acquisition in the vicinity to auction land use right for project implementation. This paper focuses on analysing the content of the concept "adjacent land acquisition", clarifying some theories as well as the necessity for legal provisions in accordance with the Land Law 2013.
